“KICKS LAB” was held in 2007 in the capacity of being Japan’s first sneaker trade show. The event, unprecedented in the country, got much attention from to-the-core sneaker fans, bringing about a wind to the sneaker scene, which at the time was not very lively. In the following year, 2008, a real shop of the same name was opening in Harajuku, firmly connected to the setting of the world sneaker scene.
There are two stores in the neighborhood. The old shop mainly focuses on sneakers that can only be obtained overseas (mainly NIKE). The new store handles domestic accounts, such as sneakers from different shops, and also has limited sneaker releases.
