OPTICIEN LOYD started off in 1985 under the new business idea of a glasses select shop and has since made a name for itself in glasses fashion among young people in Harajuku. At first they made changes and added fashionable frames to existing glasses. Later, they gradually started getting more and more orders from those in the fashion industry who heard rumors of their style. They even produce glasses for Paris Fashion Week such as Issei Miyake and Yoji Yamamoto. Many musicians such as Elton John and Ryuichi Sakamoto are fans of these glasses.
OPTICIEN LOYD offers in-store personal styling and personal order services from Mr. Namiki who has designed the glasses of famous artists.
