Luxury shops crowd the underground area of Omotesando Hills. Among these stores lies the modern select and secondhand shop PASS THE BATON which looks like someone opened a treasure chest and scattered the contents all over the place.
PASS THE BATON signifies an owner passing the baton on to the next owner. The sentimental goods collected from individuals are on display with a picture of the previous owner and a story about the item. This way of displaying goods is significantly different than traditional secondhand shops. All of the items were so precious to the former owners that they could not throw them away. PASS THE BATON offers these people the opportunity to pass these items on to someone who will take great care of them.
