Fetish fashion

In Japan, Fetish has a sexual nuance.
Fetish fashion has various erotic and grotesque styles including SM and bondage-look.

For example, “Material Fetish Fashion”, people having a fetish for materials prefer using rubber, leather, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or enamel for their clothes.
And there are also other fetish fashions of “fetish of uniform or specific clothes” or “fetish of specific parts of body” and so on.

“Fetish Fashion” appeared in late 1980’s, and then it became popular at the club events in Japan from 2000.
There is the event “TORTURE GARDEN” having the longest history with the fetish fashion event in England. In Japan, we have the same event named “Torture Garden Japan” which has been held from 2001. It can be said that this event made a chance to spread the fetish fashion to Japan. Now, we have another fetish event named “Japan Fetish Ball”.
In those days, people in soft fetish fashion are seen at underground parties or events too.
